I find that joking with my children makes it easier to talk about uncomfortable subjects, that's just my parenting style and what I believe works best for my children. Admittedly it might not work for everyone.

Same with the animation, it was an easy little way to explain a situation. Yes, it was silly but it hit the points that I wanted them to know.

They are more educated on the topic than they were previously, and that was my initial goal.
